The event will highlight the benefits to businesses throughout the East Midlands region, including Nottingham’s successful World Cup 2018 bid, “The Future Jobs Fund” that provides benefits to young people, businesses and the community. Also, find out the latest facts on health and well-being for business owners and their employees through “Working for Health”.
Colin Slater MBE, the voice of “BBC Radio Nottingham”, will be Master of Ceremonies with a whole host of sporting personalities. Nottingham City Council Deputy Leader - Councillor Graham Chapman will provide details on the £200 Million development in Nottingham with substantial local procurement, supply chain, new business opportunities, business grants, etc. Colin will also interview specially invited leading business people from Experian Plc, Skills Holidays Ltd, Asiana and from her own business ‘Designer of the Year’ Sarah Davenport.
Nottingham City Council "Fit for the Future” in partnership with the IBA, will be held at Mercedes Benz of Nottingham located at the impressive NG2 Business Park. The event will be on 20th May 2010. Arrival is 6.00pm for a prompt start at 6.30pm and will finish at 8.30pm
The RSVP invitations are strictly limited owing to capacity and ‘Buffet’ requirements. Therefore, a confirmed attendance list will be in place on the evening. Already the response has been excellent, with a whole range of businesses already committed, from small to medium sized companies to larger Plc's.
